I am wanting to convert a 3D shape to a series of thin plate forms that can be printed and used as a template. - i.e. a a egg crate body buck I've managed to import a Sketch model, see screen shot, but alas don't know how to progress. any advice appreciated. attached is image of a (real) egg crate form chow Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am not sure if formZ Free will have ALL the tools you need to do this, but you can certainly do a fair bit -- as long as the SketchUp geometry is properly formed.
