John Hynes
Hi, I'm trying to show a movie on a screen in an animation. I followed the tutorial animate a movie within a movie and it sort of works. However i can't see the movie moving in shaded view as it suggests allow if i do a render at any point it shows the movie where it should be. When i do the actual animation the movie on the screen jumps and is not smooth. Are there any video tutorials of this? I've added a short movie file which show whats happening. Thanks for any help. cheers test2.mov
Tech
Hi John, The Movie within a Movie Tutorial at the end of the Animation Manual should have all the info you need. Do you have the Color Map Options and Animation Editor set properly? If you are still having trouble, can you post or email your test file and color map movie so we can test with it here? John Hynes
Hi I tried to follow it word for word. I've just done a short 10 sec movie to test it. but it no matter what I do it still jumps in the playback. I just used a short youtube movie saved as a quicktime file to test it, which is 8mb test2.mov
