flakie12 Posted July 16, 2015 Share Posted July 16, 2015 I have been using layout in formz 8.02 and the Beta 8.5.04 and it seems to take a long time to create a plan. On one file it was taking over 45 min just to get a plan view. Is this normal, Is there someting i can do to speed up the process. There are a ton of problems with the geometry in the chairs and furniture in this file (likely imported from SketchUp). The Object Doctor can fix a lot of them automatically: However, it will still take some time to generate it unless you turn off these chairs (which still have a lot of problems): If you make sure that you are using well made models (especially before you move copies of them all over your project), then it will be able to generate the Layout a lot faster. We will also see what we can do to handle such problem geometry more quickly for the future. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.
