¢hris £und
modZ- Request to modify the Layers Palette so that the sub Layers in a Group are offset so that it is more visually distinguishable as a part of a Group. Right now the indentation makes it difficult to read. I.e. see attached image. in the Left most section, the Layer 6 appears to be on the same footing as does Layer 9. even with the indicator bar to the left, it still doesn't read as part of a group. Especially if that Group has many items... It all gets lost. Cheers!

¢hris £und
I like Gary's Left most version better. the indentation of the sub-layers looks better. I do like the options on the right too. it gets a little too crowded with everything on the Left.
Alan Cooper
Sorry to buck the trend here, but on this occasion my vote would be to keep it as it is. I'm not anti-progress by character, but just happen to like the current design, seems sufficiently clear to me already and especially as it takes up slightly less space. ¢hris £und
Technically, it would be me that is anti-progress, 6.x is preferred.
setz
I'm with the dragon. Simple indentations are the clearest and quickest to read. At a single level of parenting there isn't much of an issue, but when you use multiple levels of hierarchy, most systems become visually cluttered and harder to read.
