Pylon Technical old plugin

Recommended Posts

Ztech

Ben,

I use intensivly the old Pylon technical plugins :

Lightning collection

View Navigation

Is there a migration list of features or guide for Z8 ?

(In other words, where we can found the equivalent of each commands found in PT plugins if it exists in Z8?)

I there a way to download these old plugins?

(I have the installer for each collection and an updater (arround 15 feb 2008)

I think it's the ultimate version...

PS

(I continue to works with 6.7.3 especialy for the draft and draft layout...

I hope the 8.5 will arrive with an extensive layout...

The compatibility with the 6.7.3 draft layout is very important for me.

Hi JL, Setz,

Thanks guys!

New features introduced in formZ 7 made many features of those plugins redundant, so plugin development was discontinued. For a replacement for Live Section in particular, search for formZ's Clipping Planes.

Hi setz, ben, joe

I suppose there is no guide

I've found clipping planes...

I will investigate this further...

Just a first question:

Do you know if I can move the sun parameters directly at the screen in Z8 as the "daylight tool" buttons (date and time)?

Yes your plug ins are "pure genius"

Please you should restore a download zone even if these tools were discontinued...

Setz

Yes I remember the lens angle calculator!

Thanks to ben we do not have to use this kind of things today, but that was a nice souvenir

(also thanks to Bob Woodruff..)

Zweb

Thank you

this palette is a really good tool (especially playtime commands!)

may I suggest to add the mouse scroll to modify the values?

Buttons in the Ben plugin are also a very good feature

moving the mouse directly on the screen is a perfect idea : you move the mouse and simultaneously  you see the result.
