Shibui Design
Running version 8.0.2 here and not able to export .skp files. Anyone out there willing to export a .skp file for me? I wish to avoid installing a previous version of FMZ to do this. Thanks in advance!
Tech
Hi ENV, formZ does not support Exporting SKP files (at least not yet). On the 32 bit version of formZ, you can export DAE files, which work well with SketchUp, but if you are on OS X, you should install the formZ 7.3.4 version (with the Hot Fix if you are running Yosemite) so you can properly export them. Hopefully we can include a direct SKP Export in the future.
Shibui Design
Thanks Tech! I tried .dae however the resulting import in sketchup was badly garbled and missing lots of information. I was hoping to export .skp directly without installing a previous version of formZ.
Tech
Are you Mac or Windows, and if Windows, are you using the 32 bit version?
Shibui Design
Mac OS, Yosemite 64 bit.
Tech
Right, so you need to use the 32 bit version. You can download 7.3.4 here: http://www.formz.com/update and get the hot fix here: http://forums.formz.com/index.php?/topic/20-formz-7-hot-fix-for-os-x-1010-yosemite/ It shouldn't take more than 10 - 15 minutes to do that, and then you will be all set for the future.
