DMclean
When I place a component then use Transform to move it about and get it where I want it positioned, scale it, etc all is well. Until I decide I don't really like it where I have it, and go to transform it again. The transform control is now where I placed the component originally, not connected to the component where I moved it to. This makes it pretty much useless. If I then use the axis tool to move the axis of the object back to the object, then I can transform it as desired. However, once I click off if I come back to transform it again the controller is now where the object used to be and I have to move it to be with the object yet again... Painful... any hope of this getting fixed soon. Doug Best workaround I've found so far is to place the component, explode it and then it will behave. These loses the memory advantages of the component, but for flat trees and such it's fine. Just one of those little things that crops up from time to time when I least need it to... Tech
Hi Doug, Yes, when Transforming a Component, the origin of the component is not transformed as well. Thanks for your report, we will get this corrected.
