jeffgrune
I'm animating a Camera in a rather complicated scene with a lot of things going on. The Camera seems to be reproducing in the Animation palette list. There is more than one animation track. The big mystery is figuring out which one is the right one after 3 or for show up. Is this a function of creating keyframes or a bug? Another mystery is why a camera view switches from 3-point perspective to Axonometric when a keyframe is added. Set keyframe, move timeline, move camera, set another keyframe, camera is suddenly Axonometric.
Tech
Hi Jeff, You can control the visibility of animation tracks in the Animation Editor via the visibility column on the far left. As we noted in your other thread here: http://forums.formz.com/index.php?/topic/113-new-keyframe-for-view-changes-to-axonometric/ ,we have not been able to reproduce a perspective view becoming an axonometric view. If you can do this, please create a new file and animate your view up until the last moment it is still a perspective view. Then Save the file, perform the next action, and Save As to a new name. Then send both files so we can take a look. If you have Keyframed a view, as long as you have the Automatic Keyframe enabled in the Animation Time Line, there is no need to create new keyframes in the Animation Editor when you move an animated entity. New Keyframes will be generated automatically. Have you had a chance to review the "Animating Cameras" tech note we posted to the previous thread, and go through the Animation Tutorials that are at the end of the Animation Manual? (These should really help get you going…)
