DMclean
Working with subdivisions and noticed that if I use the swap tool and click on a Sub-D'd object, it flips back to the cage as expected, but the cage remains "selected". If I want to Swap another object I need to grab the pick tool, and unselect the existing object. As I was moving off the left edge of the window to do just that, the window view jumped to the right as if I were panning. Thought at first it might just be an odd Wacom Tablet thing, but then checked it out with a mouse and the same thing happens. Odd... Anyone else able to observe this same behaviour? Thanks, Doug
Tech
Hi Doug, Yes, if you Post Pick SubD Swap, then it should not be selected after the fact. (You can use the deselect key command to deselect it instead of getting the pick tool if you want.) Also, if you have Auto Scroll enabled, it will take effect (incorrectly) after a swap if you move your cursor to the edge. Thanks for your reports, we will get these corrected.
