3dworks
i've had a situation yesterday where after editing a component and re-loading the scene all components have disappeared. fortunately there was an automatic backup. sorry, cannot reproduce the exact steps, but will keep an eye on what happens - if it happens again. just use the automatic backup feature to be on the safe side! Tech
Hi Markus, I don't suppose the Scene just had the Layers for the Components turned of, did it? If not, if you can send a copy of the file, we will see if there any clues...

Tech
Dear Markus, If the file is too big to email, you can use any of the internet delivery services like www.dropbox.com, or you can upload it to our FTP site: ftp.formz.com name = dropbox password = i8ugdl If you have trouble logging in to the FTP site, please use a specific FTP client, such as FileZilla (Mac or Windows): http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla/ If you do upload it to our FTP, please send us an email reply once the upload is complete and let us know the name of the file you have uploaded so we know to check it, and let us know if you have any further questions. 3dworks
thank you! uploading file '3dworks_FZ801_fro02_nie4_44.fmz.zip' to the FTP dropbox, which is containing the current scene which creates all the problems reported here... i've now reverted my workflow to FZ7 waiting for a fix. Tech
Hi Markus, The file is only 5 Mb, so you can easily email that in the future if you like. We will look into this and see if we can determine what is happening here...
Tech
Hi Markus, We have opened this file, edited its components, saved, and reopened, and all components are properly there. We do notice that you are using the very highest compression setting for the file size. If you choose the 2nd highest compression the file will open much more quickly, and only be a few kb larger. If you are able to reproduce this problem, do you have any steps as to what you are doing to cause it?
