Hello Z! I need help fixing my 3D Connexion mouse. I just updated the 3D Connexion software to 10.5.0 and now NON of my preferences on the advance settings tab of the 3D Conexxion window are taking effect on the way the mouse behaves in formZ. My work-around this was to get my preference file from my laptop located in the folder C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg and copy/paste to the same folder of my desktop. The mouse works fine now but I can't modify my preferences. Also I can't access the formZ advance settings tab on the 3D Conexxion properties window unless I have no projects open on formZ which might be why I'm having this issue. Things I've tried: re-installing the old drivers re-installing formZ clean install of the new 3D Connexion driver the mouse works fine on other software System Info: formZ 8.5.7 (Build 9929) Windows 10 PRO (10.0.15063 Build 15063) Intel Core i7 -6700K NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti (Driver 384.94) 3DxWare 10.5.0 3DxWinCore 17.5.0.14333 Space Mouse Wireless (FW: 4.38)

The mouse works fine with other software for me. I've tested AutoCAD, Photoshop and Chrome and the driver has no issues that I can see.

Thanks Pointer! Your solution worked for me too. I reinstalled W10 and the issue was still present but after using the formZ preference file from a different computer I now have my input palette fully visible. The other palettes are bugged but I can work around that.

Thanks Pointer, that's great! So all you did was get the preference file from a different computer and run it on the one with the issue?

I'm so eager to see this solved! I feel like I've tried everything... tomorrow I'll reinstall my OS to try to solve this and other issues. I'll post my results -- hopefully that'll do the trick.

How can I make my Modeling Tools palette have only one row of icons?

How can I update Maxwell 4.0.0.6 to newer version 4.0.0.8 released today? I only bought the Maxwell-formZ licence and all I see is Maxwell Studio and Maxwell (BTW what's the difference?).

Hello Pylon, I see new updates on the Early Builds site. Should I uninstall the old version before installing the new one? Should I download Maxwell Studio or just Maxwell?

Is it the same file that can be found here http://www.formz.com/products/formz/formz85_Pro_Update_App_Only.html ?

Will there be an update for formZ any time soon? I would like to do a clean install to try and solve this problem but I rather wait if an update is about to be launched.

Yeah, I tried that. Moving the icons (not the palette as I said before) - my bad. That doesn't do anything for the the Input Palette but I can see the other palettes changing. On the other palettes esentially what that does is: If broken it'll repair them It not broken it'll break them

Tried moving the Input Palette out of the Tool Dock and waving the Tool Manager palette over it but it changes nothing. I would rather not create a separate user on this computer -- Is there anything else I can test?

Re-installing formZ doesn't fix it. If you want to fiddle with my settings we could organize a live meeting and I'll grant you access to my computer.

I'm using standard font and font size and playing with it makes no difference (Segoe UI 17). On my 3840 x 2160 (27" display) everything looks small and I would very much appreciate it if we had more control over the UI.

Yes, everything resets back to "factory settings". While in "factory settings" the problem gets worse as you can see on the attached picture.

New issue: The Input Palette isn't displaying correctly the "Length" portion. I tried all of the solutions posted above. I tried moving that palette around and resizing it but that didn't work either.

Here's what I did and it solved the issue without giving me any unwanted side effects: Install Maxwell Studio in C:\Program Files\Next Limit When prompted to run the license activator click on activate later When a newer update becomes available can I run the uninstaller for both "Maxwell Studio" & "Maxwell for formZ"?

Yes I ran the uninstaller before installing the newer version.
