    form•Z 8.6 Update Released

Thanks Tech. I've had no OS X issues till this update and as snow's OS X version reveals it's happening on different OS versions. OS 10.9.5 and 10.13.4.

    form•Z 8.6 Update Released

I have keyboard shortcuts assigned to hide and show Layers, Lights, Materials and Views in the Palette Dock. Once the palettes have been hidden using shorcuts I'm no longer able to get them to reappear either by shortcuts or from the Pallettes Menu. Pro 8.6.1 (Build 10091). Mac OS X 10.9.5. MacbookPro Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013.
  3. I strictly use jpg backdrops, ("billboards") generated from my client's pdfs all the time to model with. There is no need for the plugin. For me it's much faster to model with in every way over dwgs.
  4. I've found that the vray for sketchup tutorials here: https://www.hdri-hub.com/tips-and-tutorials and here: https://www.lynda.com/SketchUp-tutorials/Creating-natural-daylight-V-Ray-Sun-Sky/162706/447661-4.html?autoplay=true are good tie-overs till more vray formz tutorials are available.
  5. Anyone else having issues with components disappearing upon project reopening, see attached error message? If so what was the fix? Tried moving to a new file, worked briefly but reappeared upon the last reopen. So far no luck investigating. I'm on a deadline, really annoying, not sure if it's project specific or what. No I haven't sent it to support, complex file, I'm curious. OSX 10.9.5, Fmz 8.5.4

Shouldn't there be an option to..

I'm suggesting augmenting the pull down menu with a visual cue.

I would like to have the status operands setting also visible in the tool dock not just buried in the edit menu. Yes I have shortcuts for each, Yes I can delete operands I didn't mean to ghost. Yes I can backtrack out of a lengthy operations when I realized it wasn't set the way I intended, (very irritating). Just saying it would much more efficient to glance at the status of operands out in the open to know than the to confirm by a pull down menu.
  8. This is still a problem in 8.5 pro. Will this be fixed? I work with this program for hours every day on a MacBook Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013 and would benefit a lot if this space for the pallet dock was available. I been repotting this for a long time with no answer.
  9. Walkthrough navigation doesn't stop walking MacBook Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013 OSX 10.9.5
  10. Hi Tech, Will status of operands ever be visible in a pallet outside the edit pulldown menu? (This is so necessary.) I'm still unable to pull my pallet dock all the way down to the bottom. Will this be fixed? I work on a MacBook Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013 and this is wasted space. See attached.
  11. These are some “minor” items that are adding a lot of extra clicks during the course of a days work. I won’t go into details trust me they just do and in the rush to meet deadlines it would go a long way to remove irritations on a number of levels if they were addressed. Mac OSX 10.9.5 late 2013 macbook pro 15" retina Make status of operands visible in the tool dock (or somewhere)! Pre-picked objects don’t deselect when moved to a layer that is turned off! Pre-picked objects when deleted don’t unhighlight the layer they were on without clicking on the layers pallet somewhere. Layers don’t realign when sorted alphabetically without clicking on the layers pallet somewhere. Highlighted layer in layers pallet won’t consistently unhighlight when objects are deselected without clicking on the layers pallet somewhere. Nudge input box to remain pre-highlighted and ready to receive new input when re-invoked by keyboard shortcut during reuses. In the forum indication of read posts don’t update if using the back shortcut or back button in mac Safari. {Breadcrumb clicking works properly.) Palette Dock to be vertically fully extendable on a macbook pro retina 15-inch. I have limited space and it’s being wasted.
