Hi, For me it works, like on http://www.formz.com/products/vray/V-Ray_Documentation/index.htm#t=Clipper.htm&rhsearch=clipper&rhhlterm=clipper&rhsyns=%20 explained. So basically you create your main object and then your clipper-object. You have to assign the clipper object, by clicking on it with the Vray clipper tool. And you can set materials for main object and clipper object differently. But for me to show the material of the clipper on the clipped object, the "Use Object Material" should be unchecked(in the options of clipper tool). Hope that helps!

Hi @pkcn, There seemed to be a newer Vray (3.6.1 from May 16) in the Vray downloads. It is only working with latest 8.6.2. Some things are improved, but unfortunately not proxies! Edit. It would be great, if newer versions of Vray would be announced in forum! Cheers

Hi, latest Update for OSX from link above is 243 byte and not mountable as dmg! Update for Windows seemed to be fine with over 150mb!

@all the people that are upgrading: I choose the application only updater(Click Here), which installs 8.6 in a separate folder(have had 8.5.7 within a 8.5 folder), so no problem for me! But it be probably be wise to save the old application folder to a different place, or revert back with TimeMachine. I can easily launch both 8.5.7 and 8.6... Cheers

"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." It would be really helpful, if you could edit the first post to point us to the most recent download!

Latest is extremely unstable and even trying to rotate something results in a crash. Downloaded it for evaluation version of Vray. Thought of buying Vray, but if I can´t work with Formz, then I won´t buy it! even trying to rotate a tiny part resulted in a crash! Mac OSX 10.9.5 Probably switch back to 8.5.7.
