oldie but goldie, has been reported and i re-report it here: when switching tool options from single to copy while using the 'move' tool, the 'perpendicular to reference plane' constraint is not kept while drawing. not a show stopper, but annoying, as you have always to switch back and forth the 'perpendicular' setting to get the constraint back working. please fix it finally ;-)

Hi Markus,

We are not aware of this issue, and we are not reproducing it either.  If you temporarily reset your keyboard shortcuts to default, draw a cube, move it perpendicular, and tap the option key to toggle perpendicular, do you reproduce this?

If that is working for you but something else is not, can you please give more specifics?

ZTech,

This problem is related to the snaps and guides.

If you switch, on and off, via a shortcut to the copy mode placing the cursor in blank space, without snapping to any point or segment, the perpendicular constraint is kept, but if you switch to the copy mode with the cursor over a snap or a guide, it fails.

Apparently the snaps and guides have prevalence over the perpendicular constraint.

Look at this movie:

Best,

Marcelo
