allanjl Posted June 25, 2018 Share Posted June 25, 2018 I think the best way to accomplish what you were after is to create the object as a sweep, rather than the way you did it. Then, since a sweep is an editable object, you can move the control points as you want. I created a circle and a rectangle. Then rounded the corners of the rectangle, then sweep the circle around the rounded-corner rectangle. Then you can edit the controls of the sweep as I show. snow Posted June 26, 2018 Author Share Posted June 26, 2018 allan, these objects were created just the way you explained... started with a rectangle, fillet, swept a circle. then I split the object with a line. nothing too complicated was done, which is part of the frustration and confusion as to why they wouldn't boolean. vva, thanks, i didn't think about doing that. it worked.
