Hello

Is there currently a virtual reality headset solution compatible with FormZ?
I am currently working with a kitchen designer who uses a software (French) dedicated to this sector (http://www.transtechnology.fr/fr/default.aspx) which proposes a solution based on an Oculus Rift helmet.
Does anyone here have an experience in this area?

Thank you all for sharing your experiences.
Thanks to the support to tell us what are the plans to make Formz Compatible with VR

Best regards

Jean-Luc

I did some interior VR images a few months ago. It was a first for me where a client was even aware that VR was available!

So I just rendered some images using the Spherical lens in Maxwell keeping the images size at 2:1

I used this software to view the images for myself on screen https://www.kolor.com/gopro-vr-player/

The client had Oculus goggles and used those to view the images.

Don't know if this helps or not Jean-Luc

If you are looking to model in 3D while wearing a VR headset...  you may need to look elsewhere.

However, if you are just looking to render out VR images from FormZ, we can do that now easily with VRay for FormZ.  Then you can use these to present with a VR headset to your clients.

Here are some examples of VRay rendered VR Samples - https://www.chaosgroup.com/blog/guide-to-virtual-reality-2

thank you gentlemen for your suggestions
My investigations as the subject progress.
Currently I am looking at how to use the small 360 camera to create my environments under formz
It's simple, it works well
This is the beginning of the process which I hope will allow me to have the projects visualized to my clients in real time immediately on screen and I hope tomorrow with a VR headset
I will not fail to keep our community informed here ...
If I succeed !
