Urgent :catastrophic file loss.

A file quit on me and when re-opened after restart, it opens as empty.  In windows it's over 700Mo, but nothing upon opening - empty. One FZA back is also "empty". Two FZA's back  opens, but I lose a lot.

Anyone know how to possibly get the file which appears to have the correct size, but seems damaged.

The only warning I had was for some corrupt texture maps:

Open a new, blank project then go to File > Open and check the Add to Project box in the dialogue and open your corrupted file.  If that doesn't work with all the options checked, try unchecking the Materials and continue.

I am getting "Can't Save File Error ID = 158:22"  !!!!!

I think it is Component Related. Despite trying all the suggestions by Des in another thread, the libraries still get all messed up. I explode all Components, and now I can save out without the ERROR.

I've object and project doctored the whole thing, and still it won't save (with all components exploded, all old layers produced by components purged, old materials purged, etc..)

copy paste all info to new file?

or

Sometimes this has also solved issues for me:

Open a new formZ file

then file: open: select your problem file with "add to project" checked

check desired elements to bring over

I think most everything comes over to the new file, except for Scenes.

Thanks everyone. I got it back.  My SSD had filled without warning and it made caused some fail at Saving leading to broken file. I am surprised that Tech has not weighed in at all, especially since I provided and error code...maybe they are busy? ;)
