Shibui Design Posted February 7, 2018 Author Share Posted February 7, 2018 Those files are both there, however "Fbx.EN.fzr" is actually Fbx.ENU.fzr. Yesterday, found another export problem: Export .dwg is also not available from FormZ Layout v8.6 build 10017. I called yesterday and spoke to support. etroxel Posted February 8, 2018 Share Posted February 8, 2018 It was missing in my 8.6 WIP as well, so I tried to copy it from 8.5.7 plugins folder. That didn't work. Shibui Design Posted February 10, 2018 Author Share Posted February 10, 2018 Bbuxton, those files you referenced are in place but export dwg from layout and fbx from model are NOT available options. Despite calling and reporting this, support have not followed up on my issue, nor has there been a response from them here. Anyone know how to fix this? My work depends on this daily. Only way I've managed is that luckily I have desktop with a working installation. Some day in the near future I'll be traveling with my laptop that with this goofed up situation and will be out of luck... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Only AFTER installing v8.6, exports for .fbx and .dwg are no longer there for either installation. That's the really weird thing in this case. This build includes a correction for an issue that can cause missing file translator plugins (among others). FBX export out of FormZ is now there, however .DWG out of Layout is greyed out, i.e. not possible. Both builds are 10025 on OSX. Anyone else experiencing this? Andrew West Posted February 15, 2018 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Installed this latest version. When I try to open the project I was working on last night I get this error: Smooth Modeling error. Access Violation. Then the program crashes. I was an hour away from finishing a major project but the last build was causing all sorts of problems. I just went back to it (build 10017) and the file opens perfectly. I should also note that V-ray renders the scene just fine but if I switch to Shaded Render the program crashes. (Note: I installed the smaller download - App only). I have tested both Win & Mac versions and the problem "Smooth Modeling errors and possible crashes with certain files" still exists with Mac. 2) Tech: Is it possible to put the full version / release details in the app file info?
