Jaakko
Hi! Please can someone give an advice. I need a catcher type material in V-Ray. I have tried the Infinite plane but how to avoid the line in the horizon?
Shibui Design
I'm struggling with the same thing Jaakko. Some other host applications using Vray have compositing tools that allow this rendered "in camera" but not sure how to accomplish this with FormZ, other than rendering using alpha channel and doing in post. My goal is to avoid re-work in post if possible for production workflows. Anyone know workarounds?
Tech
This is an issue that we are working with Chaos Group to address. For now you can increase the intensity of the background using the Multiplier parameter. Usually a multiple of 2 or 3 will do.
Justin Montoya
Are you just trying to have a ground that fades off into the background? We just use a round transparency map on a big plane to achieve that... Fades perfectly to the background.
Jaakko
Justin Thanks, that sounds a good idea. I'll try it.
