RE:  formZ 8.5

Manual:  http://www.formz.com/manuals/formZ85/formZ_Pro/!SSL!/WebHelp/formzpro.php

Besides manual and videos I just noticed that "Rendering/Animation" under the Workspace Menu brings out a considerable array of tools and palettes... So far I don't see these mentioned in the Manual. For example the pop-out tool-bar titled 'Anim', it is not indexed in the Manual.  Also Note: Mac/Safari does not operate the Search function in the manual, (use other browsers for the search box in the Manuals).   I noticed that the older video above is for an previous version of formZ and the animation environment has advanced extensively...

I never had time to learn Animation, (for lack of pressing needs) and wish there were a hundred 1-minute videos, one for each use of each Animation tool set. Indeed all formZ tools are worth a thousand 1-mi8nute Youtubes! Titling each video of a specific tool set would give quick information. As we are more likely to need immediate details instead of long presentations. Indices of titles like this would be a gold mine.  Then the learning curve would be very easy! The average user could become experts much sooner.

For lack of that, I tend to rake through Google:

" formZ + ____"

Notice the spaces on each side of the + sign, which seems to prompt google to target information precisely.

I haven't done an animation in some time, but it's fairly straightforward.

Will you be animating the camera or objects?

Either way if you are using v8.5 or newer, you need to switch workspace to Rendering/Animation so all your animation tools are at hand.

If you right click on the Keyframe tool, it will bring up the manual on the animation tools where you will find an extensive description of how to use the animation tools.

The keyframe tool is mostly used to move an object over a timeline which can be edited directly in the Animation Editor pallette.

Try animating a simple object first, say a cube, to move from A to B.

I think you need to be more specific in your queries after you have experimented. Then we can help you better to do certain functions.

Thank you that answered! I can't understand on points how to do animation. I do everything, but it is impossible to me.

I studied it! But all the same it is impossible. It can be necessary in settings, to include something? I want "to open/close" a door, and it turns not in those planes. I can't explain so that it was clear to you and in English I communicate, through the translator. ((
