tw145 Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 I am running FormZ 8.5.7 and just upgraded to Maxwell 4.1.1.1 from 3. If you try to use Maxwelll Render via the plug-in, Maxwell crashes immediately. FormZ does not seem affected. Fire works normally. Render seems to work all on its own. pylon Posted July 28, 2017 Share Posted July 28, 2017 Hi TW145, That is very strange. So, if I understand correctly, the plugin is fine, but when Maxwell is launched to render your MXS, it crashes? If you launch the Maxwell from Finder/Explorer, then open the MXS, does the problem occur? If you make a new project with a cube, and render that, does the problem also occur? To help us solve your issue, please attempt to render your project with Maxwell again (Select Display> Maxwell Render). Then, open the plugin Log (Select Extensions> Maxwell Render> Log). Same problem. Fire works fine, Maxwell Render crashes immediately. tw145 Posted August 5, 2017 Author Share Posted August 5, 2017 One further note, when I open the MXS generated by plug-in directly in Maxwell Render, it seems to work fine.
