DKellitt
Hi all, My apologies as this must seem rather simple. I cannot work out how to save my adjustments to project settings. So currently i'm having to repeatedly do it every time i open FormZ. (changing the units to mm for example). I am assuming there is a way to save them? Because I cannot see anything within the project settings box. Thanks in advance
Andrew West
It is under the Edit column. At the bottom of the list is Preferences. Use custom preference file to load your typical layout and settings.
Tech
DKellitt, To clarify, formZ Preferences are saved globally and stay the same in every project. Project Settings will always resort back to the defaults when a new project is started unless you create a template file. To do this, create a blank project with your desired project settings and save it in a safe place (Documents, perhaps). Then in formZ Preferences click on Project in the left column and select Use Template Project and load the file you just saved. Does that help? Justin Montoya
Please Please Please can we get all of the FormZ Preferences in a single file for the user to save? I'm talking about the Preferences, Shortcuts, Workspaces... etc. Pretty Please with sugar on top?
Tech
Hi Justin, We will see if we can consolidate all the settings within one area in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.

FZnoob
+1 to Justin's suggestion When I first started using FZ I found all this very confusing. This is one of the first things I have to deal with when trying to get a new user up and running.
