kac
I use my 2:1 laptop that has an i5 with Intel hd 550. Surprisingly it runs FormZ really well but I have one quirk where I have difficulty selecting faces directly and need to select edges or iso lines in order to obtain the face selection. Any chance can you guys update FZ to handle lower end cards such as the Intel onboard chips? There is a lot of low end workstations that use similar gpu's so maybe it would be worth while. Tech
Hi Ken, Can you perhaps send us a screen recording of this issue? We would like to see this issue "in action" and/or reproduce it before determining it to be a graphics card support issue.
kac
As you can see in this cap, I can only select a face by the curves around it. Face mode does nothing with Intel video. I usually use the auto select for most of the work. My regular desktop it works fine but that has a dedicated card. FZ select.WMV
Tech
Ken, It looks like you have 2 Click Face Outline Selection enabled. The video you attached is of low resolution, so we may be mistaken, but it appears that when you click on the edge you are getting a dashed red line, correct? If so, disable this in the Edit menu. Does that help?
