In both modeling and layout environments the ability to view/extract a reflected ceiling plan is a necessary ability for architects to create construction documents, and design drawing packages for communicating with clients and consultants. It also assists with working out the design of everything occurring on the ceiling surfaces such as lighting, sprinkler head layouts, ceiling material geometry, HVAC elements etc.

This would be a nice addition in Layout as well. I'm not sure if you were being specific about just the modeling environment or not. And just to avoid possible confusion, this is not simply a bottom view. It's a plan-down view but show the ceiling as if there were a mirror on the ground plane looking up at the ceiling.

Hi DaveVT & Evan,

Thanks for the suggestion, we will see if this can be added in the future!
