Alan Cooper
Is it possible please to get this profile to sweep along this path to produce a solid instead of hollow object? 2 versions of path attached, one is smooth, the other faceted. Both produce hollow object when Axial Swept.

HMFormZ
Alan … I'm a mac FormZ user and it swept solid for me too working on an iMac - Corei5 12 GB Ram Make sure you check the "solid" selection tool … not sure if it was you or me who had the segment tool selected. Tech
Hi Alan, All working good here too with your file: Are you making sure to check the Caps option? And if not, does that do what you want? If you still need help, please generate the sweeps, save, zip, and post this file so we can see if there are any clues there...
Alan Cooper
Thanks Tech, Caps was unchecked, yes that was my problem, thanks again.
DMclean
While we're on the topic of axial sweeps... Reverse Path and Reverse Source still seem to have no effect when invoked from the dialog box when I'm doing a sweep and something doesn't work properly. If I go out of the tool, use the Reverse tool to reverse the path or object and do the sweep again, then it usually fixes the problem, but can never get it to work from within the dialog... Thanks, Doug
Tech
Hi Doug, Yes, we have seen cases where the Reverse commands are not working while generating the Sweep. Thanks for your report, we will get this corrected.
etroxel
"Caps" is probably a misleading label. What about changing it to "Cap Ends" or "Make Solid"?
