bbuxton Posted January 22, 2017 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Hello zweb I want to use formZ on Windows via bootcamp but licensing is causing a few issues. "The number of computers running with this serial number has exceeded the number of licenses" Prior to formZ dropping the wibu key this would not have been an issue. It is a bit strange that Renderzone and Maxwell still require the key but formZ does not use it. Is there any way to get formz 8.5 to recognise the key so moving between different OS' or computers is viable again? I have been using formZ for a very long time but dropping the wibu key has been a big issue for me, restricting the portability of my license. Tech Posted January 23, 2017 Share Posted January 23, 2017 Hi Brian, Perhaps we are not completely understanding, but formZ and / or RenderZone have not required a WIBU Key in the US since version 6.7. V6.7.3 runs just fine on Windows with the wibu key. 8.5 will not license even though it is installed on same hardware just different OS. I do hope that at some point in the future Autodessys will give the option of tying the license to a dongle again. It is an extremely useful feature!!!
