Tech Posted November 23, 2016 Share Posted November 23, 2016 Hi Dennis, You can't Offset Surface parts of a Component unless you are editing the component, or have your Components Unlocked. If we Unlock Components and then we do get a message about components being updated -- unless you have Components Unlocked -- AND you have selected the "When Editing Component Parts" to something other than the default Ask -- in which case it would be as expected.. Would that explain why you are not getting asked? We have tested this with a number of different files and are not reproducing anything unexpected. If you are able to repeat your steps and repeat the issue, please send an email to support@formz.com and include a file where you can reproduce this so we can help further. Please note that currently you should avoid creating Components inside of other Components as editing the nested components may not (currently) update properly -- but that is a feature / issue we are working on...
