jack darlington
I am wondering if anyone has tried to cap the number of times a component is able to be used/duplicated within a single model? - This is of use to me as I do not wish to model up a structure that exceeds the quantity of real world items I have available to me. Any ideas out there?
Tech
Hi Jack, Welcome to the forum! You can find out how many times a Component is used in a project from the Component Manager Palette. Just choose the Embedded Library, the desired Component, and then click in the Info "i" icon and the Times Used will be displayed near the top of the Info. Does that help? Alan Cooper
Tech, are you sure that answers Jack's question?
Tech
Alan, Well, there is not a way to cap the number of placements, but that makes it easy to see if you have exceeded your limit or not...
Alan Cooper
Sorry, I read the question as what is the maximum number of components you can have in a model.
