First of all, thanks to both envdesign and Tech for responding so quickly! I have a Monday deadline and wasn't looking forward to remaking these pieces!
Did you try reversing the faces? You might try to ungroup and or unstitch all surfaces and then try reversing faces until everything displays properly. Hope this helps!
Envdesign, this worked perfectly! I've been using formZ for over 15 years, but since most of the stuff I do is fairly simple (especially compared to some of the users on here), I'm still discovering tools. I would have never even known to try this. Thank you!!!!
Yes, there are problems with the geometry in this file, including ones that are inside out. Use the Project Doctor to fix the inside out objects. Then use the Object Doctor (Select all and click with the Add to Selection option) to see other problems that exist.
Use the Object Doctor again with the Fix option to automatically fix what can be fixed. Use the Object Doctor a third time with the Add to Selection option to see the remaining problems...
I admit that I was getting frustrated with the Object Doctor tool, because it wasn't showing that anything was wrong. I kept overlooking the Project Doctor. Again, just like the Reverse tool, this is another one that I hadn't used yet, and didn't know about. I had to use the Object Doctor tool 6-7 to finally get everything straightened out, but it worked like a charm!
Again, thanks to both of you for helping me out and saving me hours of finding the solution on my own! I had already wasted a couple hours on this before I gave up and asked for help. I should have hit up the forum sooner!
