Alan Cooper
Or boolean split with option for the intesecting part to automatically become part of the second clicked object. Either would achieve the same request and saves the effort of adding the intersecting part back onto one of the objects. It would speed up the making of a mortise and tenon joint for example where a mortise in a furniture leg is formed from a tenon on the end of a rail. Andrew West
On this note I would also like to get the old 6.7 option back to Keep, Ghost or Delete the trimmed or boolean objects after the operation.
gasjar
Am I missing something, I thought this was still there but under the EDIT menu. I have set my keys -k to keep, -g to ghost, -d to delete. The only part I haven't figured our or discovered was how to set that option individually for different operations which you used to be able to do. Tech
Hi Gasjar, Yes, those options are definitely available, and you can easily set up key shortcuts to your desired status. However, this is a global setting and not per tool...
