Imagix
Does the Maxwell plugin support animated textures, like quicktime movies etc?
pylon
It is not possible at present. We will contact AutoDesSys what can be done to make this possible in the future.
Imagix
Thank you. This would be a big for deal for FormZ as a serious animation package.

Hi Pylon Would it be possible to achieve this, by converting .mov frames to individual image files, when generating the .mxm frames for rendering? Imagix
...seems like this is also the way it's done in C4D http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=44022&p=389517#p389517
pylon
That would be fine, but the formZ SDK does not currently provide access to the frame buffer that should be used for rendering in each frame. We have requested this function of ADS. (As well as support for image sequences.)
