arcbc30 Posted September 15, 2015 Share Posted September 15, 2015 I am not able to draw pemanent guides in my drawing. After i select the guids tool and click on the face I want to draw the guide- nothing happens. In the tutotial i watched it seemed taht after you clicked on the face that you wante dthe guidline drawn along a dotted black line woudl appear and allow you to click another point along the path you wante dthe guid to draw it. However ehen i click the face no dotted black line appears. What am I missing here, is there another setting somwhere that is preventing me from drawing guide lines? Tech Posted September 15, 2015 Share Posted September 15, 2015 Hi Arcbc30, Do you have the Guide Snap Active (at the bottom of the screen between the Grid and Object Snaps)? If that is not active, the guides will be hidden... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
