3dworks Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 after adding a file to an empty scene and resaving, and the reopening the new scene, i have all components on one layer, with layer override in action (yellow exclamation mark in attributes)! i don't know how this happened, and how to fix this and how to display all components correctly again on their proper layers. the manual does not give any answer to this. i'd be glad to find a solution. i'm in trouble because of a tight deadline and this is messing up all the scene... regards markus Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tech Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 Hi Markus, If your Components have changed layers and are showing the Override ! -- you should be able to go to the Parameters Tab of the Pick Options (with these Components selected) and click the Restore Original Parameters button (at the bottom). 3dworks Posted January 25, 2017 Author Share Posted January 25, 2017 actually this seems to be broken in build 9905. i have a component setup in 3 layers. suddenly, after some modifications, all the component instances appear on the single current layer. if i go to the layer attribute, there is a yellow warning symbol, but under parameters, the 'restore original attributes' is disabled. is this a known bug? how can i restore the original layers? Are there any other details like: "Draw 3 cubes, one on each layer, select all, create a component, and...??"
