Yup, same here, never touched a mouse the last 15 years, a mouse is something for cats to play with :P .

Couldn't agree more. :)

I use spacenavigator+Apple trackpad+Logitech M570. The m570 was a surprise after using a longtime my Wacom stylus.

"As Markus indicated earlier in this thread, if you're on OS X, you should give the Steermouse drivers a go. I've used them for years too (it works with the vast majority of multi button input devices). 30 day trial available too."

Thanks for information Jon and I will give it try!

Trying demos of the suggested mouses are a task. Unlike in past years Apple store only carries apple products. Went to a local Staples (you can purchase & have 14 Days return policy... that may be best way of testing)... they had Logitech M570 & M705 among other logitech's. They also had a New one Logitech MXMASTER any user try this?

To Best Buy tomorrow to see if they carry any others.

I've always found Amazon pain free when it comes to returns. The usually have a convenience store local to you that handles the return (no fee for postage or anything like that). Always say 'not fit for purpose' on the return form and have never had any issues. Money credited back within a few days.

Amazon represent everything that I hate about ecommerce culture but they do ecommerce so damned well I find it hard to refuse!   :)

Couldn't resist 20% discount emailed to me from Staples & purchased Logitech MXMaster. It works so far in fmz beta... certainly better then what I had. Ill see how I like it during projects. Certainly fast in Safari & Excel.

I am not saying the MXmaster is not good, but the main difference I surprised with the M570 was, you do not have to move your hand and it was very comfortable to use.

Glad you found something you're happy with. Input controllers are such a personal thing so it's good to get a wide set of opinions first before settling on works best for you.

Guess the answer:  a MOUSE THAT DOES NURBS! Truthfully any mouse would have been an upgrade to what I was currently using. Would love to find a retail store that has Space Navigator.

Seriously, just order one from Amazon and return if you don't like it. Space Nav under one hand, mouse/trackball under the other - it's a real delight. I couldn't live without my Wacom when it comes to texturing but other than than a Space Nav/Trackball combo is an ace workflow enhancer.

As jonmoore said, space nav + trackball mouse is a very nice combination. The fact I 'never' have to move my hand anymore and work with both is my best experience ever since I work 22 years now with FMZ.
