3dworks Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 the script 'select by normal' which was so useful under FZ7 does not work correctly in FZ8. how to select other faces by similar normal. is there any way in FZ8 or do i have to use an older version/ other modeler for doing this? in any case it would be useful to have it in FZ8 as soon as possible... cheers markus Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tech Posted March 17, 2015 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Hi Markus, On a Mac, the v7 and earlier were 32 bit and v8 is now 64 bit. As such any third party plugins will at least need to be recompiled, if not tweaked to work with v8. I have not tested it yet, but it is quite possible that this could still work with formZ v8 on Windows -- or you can use it in v7 on OS X...
