Donald Wardlaw
I'm working on a model that is part of a set of models that eventually need to combine into one. If there are three models, say Bldg. 1, Bldg. 2, and Site, In each file I put the layers that are going to be merged in a master layer group, say Bldg. 1, Bldg. 2, and Site. Also, each file may have some other layer groups within the master layer group. What I find happens is that the master layer group does not import, but all the layers import including groups which were within the master group. I was hoping the master group would come through and I'm probably doing something wrong. Donald
Donald Wardlaw
My Bad. It works. I merged after I had created the master group but before I had saved that file. Add to project looks at the saved, not the unsaved project. sigh, Donald
rob
Yes, if you open a file that was not resaved, the original version of the file will be opened...
Tech
Hi Donald, Yes, if you don't save a project, then you will open or load the file from the version of the file that was saved.
